How to Publish and Share Your Music on ShiMuv
Export your finished song, publish it to the ShiMuv community, and share it on social media and streaming platforms.
February 10, 2026
Once your song is finished, it's time to share it with the world. ShiMuv makes it easy to publish to the community, share on social media and prepare for streaming distribution.
Step 1: Finish Your Mix
Make sure your track is mixed and mastered. If you haven't mastered yet, check out the AI Mastering tutorial.
Step 2: Export
In the DAW, click Export > Publish. Choose your format — audio only (WAV/MP3) or audio+video if you've created visuals in Edit Hub. Add a cover image, title, description and tags.
Step 3: Publish to the Community
Toggle Publish to Community to make your track visible on the community feed. Other ShiMuv users can listen, like, comment and share. Your track also appears on your channel page.
Step 4: Share on Social Media
After publishing, click the Share button to copy a direct link. Share it on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X and anywhere else your audience hangs out. The link previews with your cover art and title thanks to OpenGraph tags.
Step 5: Distribute to Streaming Platforms
To get your song on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and other platforms, you'll need a distribution service. Read our Music Distribution Guide for a step-by-step walkthrough of choosing a distributor and preparing your release.

Publishing Is Built Into the Platform
Unlike traditional workflows where you export a file and upload it somewhere else, ShiMuv's publishing pipeline is integrated into the studio. Click publish and your track gets its own page with SEO metadata, OpenGraph images for social sharing, automatic placement on genre radio stations, and visibility in the community feed. You can also sell it through the built-in marketplace.
